On Christmas Eve, Laura, Great Grandpa, Lexi & Rob came over & participated with our family in the Luke chapter 2 reenactment of the birth of Christ. Christmas day Sophie and Lily waked up early to see their stockings magically full of gifts from Santa. We all got in the spirit of christmas this year.
Our 2004 Kauai trip was great thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Williams. Sophia & Lily were more adventurous this year by snorkeling with the fishies. We saw some beautiful fish! Emily & Chad took a day trip and kayaked and hiked to Secret Falls.
Listen to Sophia as she dramatically reads her timeless classic, "A Ghost Story".
This was Sophie's & Lily's first year of soccer. They had so much fun meeting new friends and learning competition. Chad volunteered to referee some games too.
Amanda visited our family and invited Emily to her high school reunion. Sophie & Lily had lots of fun with their aunt.
Lily had a fun birthday. She chose to have a marshmallow cake, she received lots of gifts and even had a surprise gift waiting for her at our front door. Thank you all for making this a great birthday!
Our family spent a hot day at Disneyland. We rode fun rides and saw silly sites.
A day spent with Grandma & Grandpa Horrocks at the La Brea Tar Pits. This active archaeological dig site is situated in the middle of the busy city.
Liam brings a lot of joy to our family and reminds us of the important things in life. Here are a few videos of Liam's short stay on earth:

Liam's stay in the Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit. After his surgery, he was placed on a heart/lung machine and given several fluid drips while his heart recovered the trauma. Although the Dr's tried to wean him off of the machine, his little heart would not function properly. Liam spent the remainder of his short life here.
Liam's stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. He remained sedated throughout his stay. Visitors were to scrup up for 3 minutes prior to entering, but then could touch and be with the little one while he awaited his surgery.
